NI-1240: Letter from Goering to Himmler about 'population political' measures to be take in order to establish the Buna-Werke in Auschwitz
NI-1240: Order issued by Reichsmarshall Goering to Reichsfuehrer SS Himmler, dated 18 Feb. 1941, and marked copy Krauch. Goering order states that in order to build the buna plant at Auschwitz at the highest possible speed. necessary measures should be taken to provide labor and billeting. These measures include: (1) Expelling Jews to make way for I. G. personnel; (2) Permitting Poles who may be utilized, to remain during construction (3) Making available largest possible number of inmates from adjoining concentration camp number estimated at 8.000 to 12,000. Goering requests that he be informed immediately of any orders which Himmler and Krauch issue in the matter.
